TAIWAN TECH UNIVERSITY IS RECRUITING AN INTENSE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ASSISTANT IN VIETNAM

National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) is recruiting an INTENSE Scholarship Program Assistant – based in Ho Chi Minh City.

1. Introduction to the INTENSE Program:

The INTENSE (International Industrial Talents Education Special Program), implemented by Taiwan's Ministry of Education (MOE), aims to attract and train international students in key fields such as STEM, finance, and semiconductor industry. The program combines government and corporate scholarships, linking training with the practical needs of businesses, thereby providing students with opportunities to study, intern, and work in Taiwan.

In Vietnam, INTACT Base Vietnam is led by the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST – Taiwan Tech), which serves as the Head of Admissions, in collaboration with Vice-Head universities including Long Hua University of Science and Technology (LHU) and Kunshan University (KSU) to implement the INTENSE program in Vietnam.

2. Working hours:

  • Main working hours: Friday – Saturday – Sunday – Monday
  • Days off: Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday
  • If direct work is not required on Saturdays and Sundays, personnel will be scheduled to work on other days of the week as directed by the project.

3. Workplace location

  • Saturday – Sunday: Taipei School in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Other days of the week: Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Ho Chi Minh City.

4. Job Description

  • Responsible for recruitment and promotion of the INTENSE Scholarship Program, including introducing the program, answering questions, and supporting students during the initial application process.
  • Working regularly on Saturdays and Sundays at Taipei School in Ho Chi Minh City to advise, support, and provide information to students interested in the program.
  • Implement the collection, compilation, and processing of survey data; organize data for reporting and program evaluation.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to the project, coordinating with the teams in Vietnam and Taiwan to ensure the progress and quality of the work.
  • Participate in planning, preparing, and organizing program events in the Southern region.
  • Assist in checking, monitoring, and handling tasks related to Chinese language classes within the program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

5. Requirements for candidates:

  • Proficiency in Chinese is required; knowledge of English is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher; preference given to majors in Education, Foreign Languages, Management, International Relations, Communication, or related fields; preference given to former international students in Taiwan.
  • Possesses strong communication skills and confidence in advising and working directly with students and parents.
  • They are highly responsible, proactive in their work, and ensure that assigned tasks are completed on time.
  • Ability to work on a fixed weekend schedule and the flexibility to change days off during the week.
  • Proficient in basic office software, especially Google Forms, Excel, and Word.
  • We accept recent graduates, prioritizing candidates who are proactive, positive, and eager to learn.

6. Salary:

The agreement is based on ability, with a maximum of 36,000 TWD/month (equivalent to approximately 28–29 million VND/month, depending on the exchange rate at the time of payment).
