On September 11, 2025, within the framework of the working trip at SEMICON Taiwan 2025, the National Innovation Center (NIC) visited the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office (VECO) in Taipei and worked with the Vietnam Innovation and Intellectual Network in Taiwan (VIN Taiwan).
At the meeting, Mr. Vo Duc Thang - Chairman of VIN Taiwan introduced the structure, goals and outstanding activities of the network, and shared the vision of expanding connections not only within the Vietnamese intellectual community in Taiwan but also towards the global Vietnamese intellectual network. VIN Taiwan also proposed to NIC to strengthen coordination and organize more cooperation events in the coming time, not only within the framework of Vietnam - Taiwan but also expanding to countries where Vietnamese intellectual communities live and work.
At the same time, understanding the difficulties that VIN Taiwan is facing, NIC highly appreciates the enthusiasm in expanding the network, not only focusing on innovation but also focusing on connecting the intellectual community. NIC also hopes that in the future, VIN Taiwan will develop more new members, establish specialized organizations (related to semiconductors, startups, etc.), thereby contributing to the diversity of the network and building a large "information bank", helping multinational networks easily connect and exchange.
Receiving the sharing from NIC, VIN Taiwan affirmed that it will focus on standardizing activities, closely connecting members in the network, and maintaining core communication between Taiwan and Vietnam in general and between VIN Taiwan and NIC in particular. This will be the foundation for the Vietnamese intellectual community in Taiwan to become increasingly stronger, accompanying the trend of innovation and advanced technology in the world.
