Scholarship recipients
- Vietnamese students in Taiwan.
- Degree level: bachelor, master, doctorate.
Scholarship value
- 20,000 NTD/meal (30 meals).
- Scholarships will be considered and awarded separately for each level of study.
- Issued once with a certificate.
Basic conditions
- Average score must be above 75 (100-point scale), 3.0 (4.0 or 4.3 scale), or B (letter scale).
- Scholarships are only granted to students who are studying in the second year of each level of study and have not expired their training program.
- Students can only receive the Shanghai Commercial and Savings Bank scholarship once in the same level of study.
- Good conduct (if the transcript does not show conduct scores, students need to request a confirmation from the student affairs office or faculty).
- Students who have not received any scholarships within the last 1 year or students with financial difficulties will be given priority to receive scholarships.
- For master's and doctoral students, in addition to based on cumulative transcripts, the jury board focuses on reviewing research achievements and scientific publications domestically (Taiwan) and internationally, if any.
Application documents
- Candidates fill in all information and attach required documents, supporting documents (if any) according to the scholarship application form.
- Applicants need to clearly demonstrate why they deserve to be considered for a scholarship. The jury will be interested in each contestant's autobiography.
- Applicants should prepare detailed evidence. For scientific publications, candidates need to copy-paste the image of the first page (first page with paper title and author list) into the scholarship application form.

- Students who receive scholarship results from the jury need to supplement the Shanghai Commercial and Savings Bank scholarship application form (application form details will be sent to the scholarship recipient's email).
Important timelines
- Application submission: August 23, 2024 – September 14, 2024.
- Confirmation of receipt of application: September 14, 2024 – September 17, 2024.
- Jury selection: September 17, 2024 – September 27, 2024.
- Announcement of round 1 results: October 1, 2024.
- Scholarship award ceremony: expected December 2024.
Note
- Students receiving scholarships must attend the scholarship award ceremony.
- Students receiving scholarships may participate in video interviews with the Organizing Committee.

*Candidates with a letter of recommendation/recommendation from the Student Union will be a plus.
Selection process
- Round 1: The "VSATW - VIC Taiwan - VIN Taiwan" referee committee scores and selects a list of 30 scholarship candidates.
- Round 1 results announced on October 1, 2024.
- Round 2: SHANGHAI COMMERCIAL & SAVINGS BANK reviews the scholarship admission list.
- Scholarship award ceremony (expected): December 2024.
