Scholarship value
- University: 20,000 NTD/place (20 spots).
- Postgraduate: 20,000 NTD/place (10 spots).
- Issued once with a certificate.
Basic conditions
- Average score must be above 75 (100-point scale), 3.0 (4.0 or 4.3 scale), or B (letter scale).
- Well conduct.
- Students who have not received any scholarships within the last 1 year or students with financial difficulties will be given priority to receive scholarships.
- For master's and doctoral students, in addition to based on cumulative transcripts, the jury board focuses on reviewing research achievements and scientific publications domestically (Taiwan) and internationally, if any.
Application documents
- Applicants fill in all information and attach required documents and supporting documents (if any) according to the scholarship application form (section iv below).
- Applicants need to clearly demonstrate why they deserve to be considered for a scholarship. The jury will be interested in each contestant's autobiography.
- Applicants should prepare detailed evidence. For scientific publications, candidates need to copy-paste the image of the first page (first page with paper title and author list) into the scholarship application form.
- All documents need to be merged into one .pdf file and sent to email: victaiwan2020@gmail.com with the email subject line "Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank Scholarship 2022 - Candidate Name".

- Students who receive round 1 scholarship results need to supplement the Shanghai Commercial and Savings Bank scholarship application form (details will be sent to the email of candidates who pass after round 1).

- Confirmation of receipt of candidate application: 2022/09/24 – 2022/09/26
- The jury selects candidates: 2022/09/27 - 2022/10/02
- Announcement of round 1 results: 2022/10/03

- Scholarship award ceremony: expected 2022/12
Note
- Students receiving scholarships must attend the scholarship award ceremony.
- Students receiving scholarships may participate in video interviews with the Organizing Committee.

Selection process
- Round 1: The jury "VIC Taiwan - VSATW - VIN Taiwan" scores and selects a list of 30 scholarship candidates.
- Announcement of round 1 results on 10/03/2022.
- Round 2: SHANGHAI COMMERCIAL & SAVINGS BANK 2022 reviews the scholarship admission list.
- Round 2 results announced on 11/31/2022.
