VIN Taiwan would like to congratulate new Dr. Vo Ngoc Anh Tuan on completing his thesis at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST).
Thesis of Dr. Vo Ngoc Anh Tuan with the title "Maximizing interfacial bonding strength between PDMS and PMMA substrates for manufacturing microvalve/micropump system for efficient blood plasma separation with inertial particle focusing technique". The content of the thesis develops a new method to improve the bond strength of PMMA and PDMS materials to manufacture microfluidic chips. Then apply this method to design and manufacture an integrated microfluidic chip that can separate plasma from blood for testing and diagnosis in medicine. With this integrated chip, only a small amount of blood is needed. very small (several µL).
In addition, he also researches 3D printing technology, Organ-on-a-chip... for medical research. During his study and research, Dr. Vo Ngoc Anh Tuan has published 02 scientific articles in the SCIE category. In particular, his research presentations have been selected to be presented at two conferences: Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (IEEE MEMS 2022) and Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences (µTAS 2022), known as two conferences. Industry-leading conference in the field of Micro/Nanoscale Devices, Micro/Nanosystems.
Besides, Dr. Vo Ngoc Anh Tuan also participates in many activities of the Vietnamese community in Taiwan.
Dr. Vo Ngoc Anh Tuan is also a member of the Mechanical and Electrical Department - VIN Taiwan. He is looking forward to connecting and collaborating with Vietnamese intellectuals in Taiwan working in the same field to promote the Vietnamese intellectual community in Taiwan. Loan is growing more and more.
