Nguyen Minh Duy "fell in love" with Taiwan in 2018, currently a 2nd year student at Yuan Zhi University (Yuan Ze University - YZU), Taoyuan City - Taiwan, majoring in Business Administration. Before being an official student here, Duy spent nearly a year and a half studying the language program of National Taipei University of Education.
Although he only chatted via Google Meet for an hour, Minh Duy led VIN Taiwan's information and communications department (VINT for short) from one surprise to another, making VINT very eager to share. Share immediately while it's hot.
Minh Duy was born in 2000, a golden generation representing an extremely dynamic Z generation. Before joining Taiwan, Duy was admitted to the medical field in Vietnam. Duy admitted that at that time he was still trying to pursue this path of studying medicine at schools in Taiwan, but because the epidemic situation began to become serious, many schools limited entry for medical students. After attending After asking your seniors to share admission information, you changed direction and were admitted to Nguyen Tri University's Business Administration major and received an entrance scholarship from the school. During your studies, you have achieved many remarkable achievements and experiences. Studying in a program entirely in Chinese is difficult, you are also studying two faculties: Accounting and Marketing.
Study very well...
Duy shared that during his two years studying at Nguyen Tri University, he never made it out of the top - a true "family member". But Duy is not too nerdy or passive at all.
... but "playing" is no less
Revealing to VINT, Duy is currently the President of the Student Union of the Faculty of Business Administration, Vice President of the Vietnamese Student Association at YZU, Secretary of the Student Association of the entire YZU school. The odds were extremely harsh, but Duy tried to achieve them, and there was no precedent for any international student at Nguyen Tri University. All of these positions, Duy plans to "upgrade" to higher positions in a very short time and will soon be updated in the next sharing with VINT.
Previously, Duy was also the Ambassador of Nguyen Tri University in 2018, at that time, Duy was proud to be the only international student in the total number of years he was selected. In addition, you are also the International Ambassador of Taiwan - Vietnam for two consecutive years from 2018 to 2020. Through this role, Duy has been extremely energetic, enthusiastic and devoted to promoting culture. Vietnamese culture and support for students who are children of new immigrants in Taiwan. You have proposed a scholarship support program for children in difficult circumstances.
Thanks to these roles, you feel more confident in yourself and have more motivation to continue participating in other large and small activities. In particular, not only do you not feel that these are stresses that need to be balanced with studying, you always radiate positive energy, be as active as possible and see those activities and programs as a way to relieve pressure. You always find things to learn from your predecessors, and learn from experience to improve yourself better.
From difficulty to passion - hobby to something that makes money
Even though you are talented, as for VINT, you are really humble and think a bit more mature than your peers. To have an easy life like now, you don't hesitate to try many different part-time jobs: from manual labor to office work. You think: each job brings you a different excitement, each profession has its own advantages that help you have many valuable experiences.
When it comes to himself, especially his passion, Duy is a genuine sneakerhead. You are extremely interested in collecting and owning extremely "cool" shoes. Grasping the common psychology of his "fellow students", Duy not only helped other students get "rare" shoes but also earned himself a considerable amount of money to satisfy other hobbies such as collecting. modeling, traveling and growing ornamental plants. Even those hobbies will help you earn significant extra income to the surprise and admiration of VINT.
“Effort every day does not guarantee success, but not trying will certainly fail.” – VINT hopes to soon have more talks to share with Duy with the desire to bring Vietnamese culture closer to the island nation of Taiwan to prove that although the country of Vietnam is small, the Vietnamese people are not defeated. less than anyone. Wishing you good studies and always maintain your current achievements.
