Continuing the joy of scientists in the Vietnamese intellectual community in Taiwan, VIN Taiwan would like to congratulate the new PhD. Ton That Dong completed his thesis at National Thanh Cong University - NCKU.
Research thesis of Dr. Ton That Dong with the title "High performance sensored and sensorless control for permanent magnet synchronous motor drive based on current and flux vector control" - "High performance sensored and sensorless control for magnet motor electric drive system "permanent motor based on current control and magnetic flux vector control" with the goal of improving performance and working reliability, while simplifying the operating method for permanent magnet motors - PMSM - is one of the This type of motor is commonly used today in civil, industrial and electric vehicle applications.
During his studies, Dr. Dong, his professor and his colleagues have published more than 5 quality scientific publications, winning high prizes at international innovation competitions.
He shared more about his experience in conquering big goals: "The key to quickly completing the doctoral study plan is 1) the need to maintain balance (between work and entertainment), persistent, proactive, optimistic and perfectionist; 2) methods need to be sophisticated, creative, master research methods and careful and thoughtful in every detail, and 3) research ethics and open thinking of scientists (that is, sharing knowledge knowledge, expand cooperation and learn from other scientists).
In addition to the stressful time of studying and researching, Dr. Dong is always enthusiastic about spending time supporting the Vietnamese Student Association in cultural and artistic activities and assisting in guiding new students to familiarize themselves with the learning environment. With the experience accumulated in the process of self-study and self-adjustment to the pace and pressure of research, Dr. Ton That Dong is always enthusiastic about sharing and guiding new master's and doctoral students, to help them quickly stabilize and develop in research.
After graduating, he returned to his hometown (in Hue City) to work with the desire to impart professional knowledge to the young generation of students, connecting to a network of scientists with the same expertise. to expand research and create more high-value products.
