On September 10, 2025, the National Innovation Center (NIC) in collaboration with the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office (VECO) in Taipei organized Vietnam Semiconductor Forum 2025, within the framework of SEMICON Taiwan 2025.
Opening the program, Mr. Phan Kieu Chung, Representative of the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, delivered the opening speech. Following that, Mr. Vu Quoc Huy, Director of the National Innovation Center (NIC), delivered a welcome speech, sharing development orientations and international cooperation opportunities in Vietnam's innovation ecosystem.
During the program, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Representative of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam introduced the potential and investment attraction policies of Vietnam. Taiwanese experts shared about the development of the semiconductor industry and proposed development orientations for Vietnam in the coming time. In addition, representatives of industrial parks in Vietnam also presented support policies and investment attraction in this field.
The program ended with an open discussion session, with the participation of guests from universities, businesses and industrial parks, to share ideas and contribute to promoting cooperation between Vietnam and Taiwan. VIN Taiwan was honored to participate in the program as a discussion moderator.
Through the forum, we expect that bilateral cooperation in the semiconductor field between Vietnam and Taiwan will be increasingly promoted, contributing to human resource development and attracting high-tech investment in the future.
