March 19, 2022, Vietnamese Information Center in Taiwan (VIC Taiwan), Vietnamese Intellectual and Innovation Network in Taiwan (VIN Taiwan), Vietnamese Student Association in Taiwan (VSATW) received an invitation from Mr. Harrison - VIC Taiwan Advisor - to participate in a running program with his family and sell goods to raise charity funds. Mr. Harrison is always interested and ready to support the Vietnamese community in Taiwan.
The event attracted many participants and was very meaningful. We hope that the Vietnamese community in Taiwan will have similar community connection activities so that everyone has the opportunity to interact and promote spirit and health. strength of Vietnamese people in Taiwan.
Ms. Pham Ngoc Ai - Vice President of VIC - shared: This is an event that helps connect family and community members together, joining hands with Taiwanese businesses to help raise funds to support those affected. difficult situation. The program is extremely well organized, not only adults but also children are provided with full shirts, bibs, snacks and water to participate in the race. My Wolf friend was very excited to experience a lively warm-up session and a journey of running more than 3km around New Taipei Metropolitan park with hundreds of children of all ages. And most happily, everyone in the family received a medal when completing the race.
Mr. Harrison also hopes that this is an opportunity to help Vietnamese students integrate easily into Taiwanese life and help increase the connection between students and Taiwanese businesses.
