Vietnam Innovative and Intellectual Network in Taiwan (VIN Taiwan)
overview
- The Vietnamese Student Association in Taiwan (VSATW) was established 12 years ago with the purpose of connecting the Vietnamese Student Community in Taiwan in many areas of activities. Currently, VSATW is also connecting with about 30 Vietnamese Student Associations at schools across Taiwan.
- In recent years, the number of international students in Taiwan has increased sharply, with more than 20,000 students studying at universities across Taiwan.
- At the same time, the number of Vietnamese Alumni staying in Taiwan to work is gradually increasing, not only working professionally in companies, but also working in the educational environment as professors and post-graduate researchers. PhDs at Taiwan's top universities.
- After the first exchange meeting (April 15, 2021), the Vietnamese Young Intellectuals Forum in Taiwan received the attention of many alumni and students and graduate students in Taiwan.
- Thus, with the potential resources, needs and aspirations of the community, we proceed to establish and launch Vietnam Innovative and Intellectual Network in Taiwan (VIN Taiwan).
Purpose
- Connecting the community, building a database of young Vietnamese intellectuals in Taiwan (working and students, graduate students).
- Build an information network, exchange, share, capture information and support and cooperate when needed.
- A bridge between the young Vietnamese intellectual community in Taiwan and businesses.
- Coordinate with the National Innovation Center (NIC) to connect with the Vietnamese young intellectual community around the world, jointly promote the development and support of science and technology for the country.
