“Tet”… is supposed to be a time when we get together and reunite with family, after a year of hard work. Yet this is the second Tet that I have not been able to return because the epidemic situation is complicated and prolonged.

But I also feel very lucky and somewhat comforted because I still have friends from the same hometown here to gather together and cook a Tet meal with the flavors of home.

And this year's Tet, I also decided to do something very special for myself, by giving myself a trip to somewhat relieve my homesickness, and at the same time explore famous tourist destinations. learn in Taiwan and make new friends.

After all, Tet away from home is really sad, but it also makes us realize "How important family is!"
Mr. Vo Duc Thang, Assistant Professor, Taiwan Tech – Tet is far from home but with friends, it won't be too sad.
I have been in Taiwan for more than 10 years, but I have only spent Tet away from home twice due to the epidemic situation. It felt a bit unfamiliar at first, but everyone stayed so celebrating Tet in Taiwan wasn't too sad.
I often gather with friends to eat, chat and wish New Year's Eve.
Hopefully the epidemic situation will stabilize soon so everyone can celebrate Tet with their families.
